To smooth out a text edge, anti-alias it. The edges of the text blend into the background. This can make the text cleaner and more readable.
Use the Text Editor to set anti-aliasing. Anti-aliasing applies to all characters in a given text block.
To apply an anti-aliased edge to selected text:
